REGAN ALSUP | PRODUCER | WASHINGTON, DC
HELLO, I'M REGAN
I LOVE CREATING STORIES
I'm a creator. I'm a storyteller. I'm a doer. I strive to build a career that matters by using the power of media to tell stories that enable and motivate meaningful connections between humans and the world around them.
I work to apply my skills in video and multimedia production to helping others change their own lives or the lives of those around them. I am passionate about my work and hope to inspire that type of passion in everyone I work with.
WHAT I'VE DONE
My eagerness to make my work matter began in high school, when I realized the power of newspapers to tell stories and spread awareness about issues that many knew nothing about.
In college, I applied that devotion to film and graduated from American University in 2013 with a dual degree in Film and Media Arts and International Relations.
Since then, I have explored the world, telling stories along the way, through my work with Impact(Ed) International, the National Park Service Climate Change Response Program and The Collaborative.
WHAT I DO
A little bit of everything. I love the Producer role, but I've acted as a one-stop shop for all things relating to video production and beyond. This versatile set of experiences allows me to tackle any project put forth with confidence.
If I don't know how to do something, I'll learn. My nimbleness and strength as a creative problem solver has opened doors for me to add value beyond production, including as a website designer, fundraiser and strategic planner.
